Safari 3.1.2 is a web browser developed by Apple Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Safari 3.1.2 was released within 3 months as a security fix for its first stable release for Windows platform during March 2008.  Apple identified that there is a security flaw in the Safari windows edition 3.1 that browsing through malicious website automatically download executable files and automatically run in the user's desktop.

Apple's claim of fastest browser was true while testing in the HTTP load times, however the magnitude of difference was only marginally compared to Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2 versions.
